As Congress debated a massive coronavirus bill Friday night, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy derided the proposed $1.9 trillion package as "Pelosi’s Payoff Bill."
His remarks were issued late Friday by his office, with plans to deliver the comments on the House floor soon after. "Congress won’t actually vote on this bill until 2 a.m. Saturday," McCarthy said.
