New Delhi: Amid a worrying surge in daily COVID-19 cases in the state, the Kerala government is considering reopening schools. The state government has constituted an expert committee that will prepare a report on the matter, PTI reported. Kerala General Education Minister V Sivankutty said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan along with the high-level committee monitoring the COVID situation would take a final decision on the school reopening. "The Education Department is contemplating to set up a suitable expert panel to submit a report to know whether the circumstances in the state are all right to reopen the schools," Sivankutty said.More Related News
