Keanu Reeves believes NFTs are a joke, says Facebook can’t be allowed to own metaverse

Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves has an interesting take on Facebook owning metaverse and NFTs. The Matrix Trilogy star doesn’t seem too excited about the whole Metaverse thing and he said that he doesn’t want Facebook to own metaverse because the entire concept is way older. Reeves also expressed his views about NFTs and called it a joke.
In an interview with The Verge, Reeves said that NFTs are items that can’t be copied but can be easily reproduced. Reeves comment on NFTs was in reference to the ability for people to right-click and save images. Although NFTs or non-fungible tokens are Digital property owned by people, they can well be reproduced. The user can either take a screenshot or right-click on the image to save it. However, the sole rights of the digital property remain with the owner only.
