KBC 14 Episode 6 Written Update: Contestant Satyanarayan teaches Big B how to cook

Satyanarayana Subbaraya took the hotseat in the August 12 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. He taught Big B how to cook.
In the August 12 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Play Along contestants. Satyanarayana Subbaraya was the first SonLiv Play Along contestant to take the hotseat this season. He revealed that he had been trying to reach the hotseat since the very inception of the show. The 41-year-old contestant hails from Bengaluru. He is employed with a private bank. He revealed that he loves cooking and even went on to share his Gobhi 65 recipe on the show with Big B.
Amitabh Bachchan introduced all the contestants, who got a call from the game and rushed to the sets of KBC from their respective houses. Big B revealed that many contestants thought the calls to be fraud and threatened to complaint.
Satyanarayana Subbaraya was the first Play Along contestant to take the hot seat. He said, “It took me 22 years, one month and 9 days to reach Kaun Banega Crorepati. I still remember while I was studying in college in Mumbai, someone told me that on every Sunday Amitabh Bachchan comes to his balcony to greet his fans. So, I also went several times but never got an opportunity to see you. It is a dream come true moment. I can't even believe that I am sitting in front of you.”
He added, "I have been watching Kaun Banega Crorepati since its inception and always had hopes that maybe one day, I will get a chance to be on the show. Since past few years I had given up hope but this new segment came as sign and I participated again. From winning the fastest finger first round to sitting on the hotseat, the entire experience has been worth it."
The contestant also shared cooking tips with Big B. The superstar said, “You are telling me as if I cook everyday. I am not understanding anything.”
The contestant used his last lifeline for the Rs 50 lakh question but could not get the right answer. So, he decided to quit the show with Rs 25 lakh. However, when asked to guess the answer, he chose the correct answer. The question was - which city that initially won the bid to host commonwealth games 2022 was later stripped of the rights to do so? Options were Edmonton, Canada; Durban, South Africa; Hambontota , Sri Lanka and Christchurch, Australia. The correct answer was Durban, South Africa.
