Kate Middleton made a stylish statement in a blue plaid trench coat at a private drive-in screening of the upcoming Disney film Cruella at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.

The event was hosted for National Health Service (NHS) staff and employees to recognise their tireless efforts in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. For the event, Kate stunned in a blue plaid trench coat by Holland Cooper layered over a beige midi skirt. The coat featured a double breasted-front with gold buttons and a belted waist. She rounded off her attire with emerald-green suede pointed-toe pumps. As for jewellery, Kate wore blue sapphire and diamond earrings, currently on loan from the Queen. The earrings were gifted to the Queen by former Dubai leader Shaikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum in 1979 as part of an elaborate jewellery set consisting of sapphires and diamonds set in gold, Daily Mail reports.
