Doha, Qatar: The sixth edition of the Katara International Amber Exhibition opened yesterday by the Director General of the Katara Cultural Village Foundation Professor Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, who also toured the exhibition with a number of ambassadors and officials.
The event, being held until January 16 in Hall 12 at Katara, involves the participation of 13 countries from around the world, represented by 82 pavilions.
The participating countries include Saudi Arabia, Poland, Latvia, Germany, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Iraq, Syria, China, Turkiye, Lithuania, and hosts Qatar.
The 2026 Katara International Amber Exhibition is witnessing wide participation from elite exhibitors and experts in the field of amber from various countries, confirming its position as a leading annual platform that combines culture, heritage, and economy.The exhibition features a wide array of luxury products and artefacts crafted from rare amber.
This year’s exhibition comes in a distinctive format, with a great diversity of exhibits including antique Polish rosaries, rare handicrafts, and artefacts made from rare amber.
