Karnataka on November 20 reported 213 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total to 29,93,352. Bengaluru Urban reported 134 cases and two deaths.
With five deaths, the toll rose to 38,174. This is apart from 29 deaths of patients due to non-COVID-19 reasons.
As many as 370 persons were discharged, taking the total recoveries to 29,48,053. The State now has 7,096 active patients.
The election authorities are gearing up for the counting of votes cast in the simultaneous elections to Lok Sabha and Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh, scheduled to be held on June 4. The Collectors and Election Officers of Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli and Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) districts said on May 23 (Thursday) that their teams were ready for the counting of votes.
