The Karnataka Cabinet condoled the death of 11 persons and injuries to over 50 persons at a stampede at M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru while celebrating the victory of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 2025 edition of the IPL on June 4.
On June 5, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah chaired a Cabinet meeting and took stock of the developments in the aftermath of the stampede. He listened to views of ministers on the tragedy, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H. K. Patil told reporters.
