White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted on Wednesday that voter suppression still occurred in the Georgia election despite reports of record-level turnout.

"There was suppression. We saw that throughout the Georgia election, so that’s been something that’s been reported on. So I leave it to those reports. But even with that, the American people came out… in historic fashion to make their voices loud and clear," Jean-Pierre answered.
