Kareena Kapoor Khan, whose new film Laal Singh Chaddha hit the theatres on August 11, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with her family members in Mumbai on Thursday. The actress made a steal-worthy fashion statement on the special occasion.

Kareena embraced an ethnic look for the festival and slipped into a green-hued kurta set worth Rs 22k. She kept the overall look very minimal and subtle, and yet made it look glamorous. Kudos to her innate glam and the choice of her footwear!

Her ensemble comprised a simple kurta, which was adorned with intricate yet detailed embroidery along the neckline. She wore it with a pair of matching pants and a sheer dupatta. The dupatta, we must say, added a dash of floral charm to the look as it was also replete with dainty embroidery.

To style the look, Kareena opted for a pair of jhumkis. She tied her hair in a bun and also sported a pair of sunnies. She channelled her inner Punjabi kudi and rounded off the Rakhi look with a pair of embellished juttis.
