Kangana Ranaut should not be given permanent exemption, Javed Akhtar to Court

Javed Akhtar has responded to Kangana Ranaut's application for permanent exemption from appearance in the ongoing defamation case.

Kangana Ranaut had filed an application for permanent exemption from appearance in the Javed Akhtar defamation case. Now, Javed Akhtar has replied to Kangana's application. "Applicant/Accused (Kangana Ranaut) has failed to appear before this Court for consecutive five dates (26.03.2021, 30.04.2021, 28.05.2021, 11.06.2021, and 25.06.2021) on one pretext or another and has essentially misused the liberty and accordingly, cannot be granted the relief of permanent exemption," said Javed Akhtar's reply to the affidavit filed by the actress seeking permanent exemption from court appearances.
