Julio Jones trade scenarios: Where could the star WR land?
NY Post
Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones shocked the NFL world on Monday morning when he admitted to Shannon Sharpe on “Undisputed” that he is “out” of Atlanta.
The seven-time Pro Bowler has been the subject of trade rumors since around the 2021 NFL Draft, but the admission turned an exit from a possibility to a likelihood. Adam Schefter reported that the Falcons are seeking a first-round pick in return, though those in league circles don’t expect it to happen. Ian Rapoport reported that Jones officially requested a trade over a month ago. A team would need to take on his salary, as he has a $23 million cap hit (though it can be split over two seasons if the trade is executed after June 1).
SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
