Josh Allen played most of season with fracture as Bills star sits in driver’s seat for MVP
NY Post
Josh Allen is the MVP favorite, and that’s perhaps just his second most impressive feat of the season thus far.
NFL Network reports that Allen has played most of the season with a fractured non-throwing hand, thanks to an injury he sustained rushing for a touchdown in Week 1 against the Cardinals, though he is now considered healthy.
Allen, 28, has played so well that you wouldn’t be able to tell he was dealing with an injury; he has 25 passing touchdowns against just five interceptions to go along with 11 rushing touchdowns for the 11-3 Bills.
The injury occurred on an Allen run to the goal line, where he did a Superman-like leap to get into the end zone.
He was hit in midair by Cardinals defensive tackle Justin Jones, and Allen planted his hand down on the ground to brace his fall.
Allen doesn’t appear to give his hand even a little look as the play ends and he celebrates his touchdown.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
