Joint forces conduct intensive searches along LoC in J&K ahead of 75th Independence Day

According to reports, joint forces including local Jammu and Kashmir police, SOG Samba, Indian Army, BSF and CRPF personnel conducted the searches. The security arrangements have been tightened in the Union Territory in view of the 75th Independence Day. All agencies have also been placed on high alert.
New Delhi: As Independence Day approaches, joint forces in Jammu and Kashmir conducted an intensive search operation from Bai Nalla to Nandpura in all border areas along with Pakistan on Wednesday (August 11). According to reports, joint forces including local Jammu and Kashmir police, SOG Samba, Indian Army, BSF and CRPF personnel conducted the searches. The security arrangements have been tightened in the Union Territory in view of the 75th Independence Day. All agencies have also been placed on high alert. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will preside over the main Independence Day functions in Jammu and Kashmir, while District Development Council (DDC) chairpersons shall be the chief guests in their respective districts.More Related News
