There is no official word on the pricing of the upcoming device from the telco as of now. Google-backed Jio Phone Next was announced at the 44th Annual General Meeting earlier this year. The smartphone was supposed to launch on September 10 but a day ahead of its launch, the dates were pushed ahead to Diwali owing to industry-wide semiconductor shortages. Jio and Google noted that they have made considerable progress towards the launch of JioPhone Next and that the companies have begun testing JioPhone Next with a limited set of users for “further refinement.”
