Jio discontinues two entry-level prepaid plans ahead of Google-backed JioPhone Next launch

Telecom giant Jio has discontinued two of JioPhone’s cheapest entry-level prepaid plans. The development comes a day ahead of Google-backed smartphone JioPhone’s launch. The plans were priced at Rs 39 and Rs 69. These plans were only introduced in Mid-May, with Jio offering its users a Buy One Get One offer with these plans. The telco has now discontinued the buy-1 get-1 offer as well which gave users double the benefits of a plan at the same price. It is possible that Jio could roll out new plans after the launch of JioPhone Next which is slated for tomorrow.More Related News
