Jinger Duggar details her decision to wear pants despite religious upbringing: ‘My convictions were changing’

Jinger Duggar, also known as Jinger Vuolo, currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.

"My mom had always dressed us girls in skirts and dresses, a standard that was taken from Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, ‘A woman shall not wear a man’s garment,’ (ESV) and I never questioned it," wrote the mom of two, also known as Jinger Vuolo, in her new book, "The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace in the Promises of God," which she co-wrote with her husband Jeremy Vuolo. "Modesty was a huge topic in our house, and we believed that wearing skirts instead of pants was a central part of being modest," wrote the Arkansas native, as quoted by People magazine. "But I wanted to discover for myself what the Bible had to say."
