Jets’ lost season another blow to suffering fans under Woody Johnson
NY Post
Here’s the difference between the Jets and the Giants:
Giants fans caused a stir more than 45 years ago when they flew a plane over Giants Stadium. They caused additional stirs a few weeks ago when they went back to the same plan and flew a couple of signs over MetLife Stadium.
Where are the Jets fans angry enough to lease a plane and make a sign?
This is the legacy of Woody Johnson’s disgraceful tenure as the owner of the Jets. Somehow, he’s managed to make the NFL’s most beaten-up fans feel like they’ve gone 15 rounds with Apollo Creed a day after going 15 rounds with Clubber Lang. Johnson’s defenders will die on the hill of: what about 2009 and 2010? What about 2001-02, 2004, 2006?

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.
