Jannik Sinner wins his fourth grand slam title, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in four sets. Follow CNN Sports for live updates.

• JUST IN: World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has won the Wimbledon men’s singles title after a hard-fought battle with two-time reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz. It was a close contest throughout but Sinner gained the edge late, securing his first Wimbledon title and fourth grand slam win. • Epic rivalry: The matchup between two of the game’s brightest young stars lived up to the hype. It was a rematch of last month’s French Open final, which many consider one of the greatest matches in the sport’s history. • Women’s champion crowned: Polish star Iga Świątek dominated her women’s singles final against American Amanda Anisimova yesterday. The more experienced Świątek did not lose a single game en route to a straight sets victory over Anisimova, who struggled in her first grand slam final. Catherine, Princess of Wales, has come down from the Royal Box to award the winner’s and runner-up trophies. She speaks to both players as they’re called up to collect their awards, with Jannik Sinner raising his golden trophy to the crowd. Jannik Sinner defeats Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to win his first Wimbledon title.
