James Bond books rewritten to remove racially insensitive language one week after Roald Dahl controversy

Ian Fleming Publications commissioned a sensitivity review of the classic James Bond novels one week after Roald Dahl's books were rewritten to remove offensive language.
The Telegraph reported Saturday that the books' reissue will contain a disclaimer, expected to read, "This book was written at a time when terms and attitudes which might be considered offensive by modern readers were commonplace." Taylor Penley is a production assistant with Fox News.
"A number of updates have been made in this edition, while keeping as close as possible to the original text and the period in which it is set."
