Suriya recently made headlines after Vanniyar Sangam sent a legal notice to him, Jyotika, director TJ Gnanavel and Amazon Prime Video over Jai Bhim row. In their note, they claimed that certain scenes in the film, Jai Bhim, defame the Vanniyar community.
