It's raining high profile editorials as Congress President Sonia Gandhi follows PM Modi, says vaccines always free in India

Sonia Gandhi, in the editorial piece in The Hindu said, "... the harsh truth is that the second wave was a colossal tragedy that could have been averted had the Government not let down the people of India."
Notably, the editorial comes in less than a week after Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote an opinion piece. The PM had hailed it as history being scripted, as he described India's COVID-19 vaccination drive as a journey from "anxiety to assurance".

In a subtle jibe at the BJP-led Central government, Gandhi, in the editorial piece in The Hindu said, "... the harsh truth is that the second wave was a colossal tragedy that could have been averted had the Government not let down the people of India."
