Israeli ambassador to UN condemns Tlaib's 'antisemitic lies' after calling Israel 'apartheid state'
Fox News
Rep. Rashida Tlaib's, D-Mich., comments calling Israel an “apartheid state" were condemned by Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations Gilad Erdan.
Erdan's comments come after Tlaib took to social media Monday to slam House Speaker Kevin McCarthy for arguing that the United States and Israel have a "special relationship," with Tlaib arguing that Israel was responsible for "ethnic cleansing" of Arab peoples. "Speaker McCarthy wants to rewrite history but the apartheid state of Israel was born out of violence and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians," Tlaib said. "75 years later, the Nakba continues to this day."
