The man named Ariel Chahi from Kadima-Zoran in Israel grew a gigantic strawberry that weighed 289 grams. The berry had a weight of 299 grams with stem and The Guinness World Records confirmed it to be the world’s heaviest strawberry.
A man from Israel took his love for farming a little further when he grew a strawberry weighing almost a whopping 330 grams. And no, we are not joking.
The man named Ariel Chahi from Kadima-Zoran in Israel grew a gigantic strawberry that weighed 289 grams. With the stem, the strawberry weighed 299 grams and The Guinness World Records confirmed it to be the world’s heaviest strawberry.
According to The Guinness World Records, this strawberry belongs to the Ilan variety. It was grown by Ariel’s family business called Strawberries in the Field. The Ilan variety of strawberry is known for producing large fruits.
A video shared by the official Instagram handle of The Guinness World Records showed Ariel determining the weight of the fruit. He first weighed an iPhone XR, which came out to be a total of 194 grams. He then measured the strawberry’s length, breadth and circumference, which came out to be 18 cm, 4 cm and 34 cm respectively.
