Doha: In a continued effort to meet the spiritual and educational needs of Qatar’s diverse expatriate communities, the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center has launched a series of weekly lectures in Urdu at its Labour City branch.
These programmes attract dozens of participants each week, particularly from the Urdu-speaking community.
The Urdu-language programme, held at the Labour City Mosque, focuses on essential Islamic knowledge under the theme: “What Every Muslim Must Know.”
The sessions cover the fundamentals of Islamic belief (aqeedah), worship (ibadah), behaviour, and ethics — offering a holistic view of the ideal Muslim character.
