Iran-backed militia attack update: 34 US service members injured, 8 evacuated from Jordan

The number of U.S. service members injured in an attack by Iran-backed militias on a base in Jordan rose late Sunday to 34, including eight who had to be evacuated.

Fox News is told all service members are being fully evaluated for follow-on care. The number of injured was expected to fluctuate.  The Associated Press contributed to this report.

The injuries mostly include traumatic brain injury, though the number of cases will likely go up as symptoms can take time to develop.
