IPL 2021: Virat Kohli's much-talked-about tenure as RCB captain ended in disappointment as Bangalore were knocked out in the Eliminator by KKR. Kohli said loyalty matters to him the most and he would continue to play for RCB in the future.

Virat Kohli, who has led RCB over the last 10 years, took over from Daniel Vettori in 2013 as their full-time captain. He led them to the final in 2016 but the Bangalore-based franchise have underachieved for the most part of Kohli's stint as captain despite possessing a galaxy of stars over the years.
