Rajasthan Royals have made numerous changes to their side after ending IPL 2020 at the bottom of the table. There have been changes made from the very top, with the team getting a new skipper in the form of Sanju Samson. They have sacked their head coach from last year Andrew McDonald, and brought in new coaching staff for IPL 2021.
Rajasthan Royals will be eyeing to win their first title since 2008 and have gone for a new-look team in IPL 2021. This is the third change in skipper for the franchise in as many years after Ajinkya Rahane made way for Steve Smith last year. In 2019, the Royals started under the leadership of India Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, but sacked him as the skipper after the team had just 2 wins in the first eight matches. Steve Smith was made the captain for the next five games, where they won 3 matches. But Smith then had to depart for national duty and Rahane returned for the remaining matches.More Related News
