Ruturaj Gaikwad joined an elite list of cricketers after completing 600 runs in IPL 2021 while the Chennai Super Kings brought their four-match losing streak against Delhi Capitals to an end to enter their ninth final.
Chennai Super Kings opener Ruturaj Gaikwad became the third batsman in his franchise's history to complete 600 runs in a season of the Indian Premier League during Qualifier 1 which the three-time champions won against Delhi Capitals on Sunday.
Gaikwad scored a match-winning 70 off 50 balls with 5 fours and a six to help CSK chase down 173 against DC with 4 wickets in hand and two balls to spare. Robin Uthappa (63) and MS Dhoni (18 not out) also played crucial knocks as CSK ended their four-match losing streak against DC with this win.
