Chasing a challenging 155-run target, the Royals got off to a poor start losing openers Liam Livingstone and Yashasvi Jaiswal inside the first two overs. David Miller then joined the duo in the dugout as Royals were reduced to 17/3 in the fifth over.
Mahipal Lomror, who impressed everyone with his swashbuckling inning, showed some resistance and added 19 off 24 deliveries. Following his dismissal no other batter could cross the double digits as Royals could only manage 121/6 in their 20 overs.
