Former India wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel said Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) deserve a pat on their back for allowing Glenn Maxwell to flourish at their franchise in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

RCB showed faith in Glenn Maxwell despite the Australian all-rounder's poor run of form in the recent years in the IPL. Notably, Maxwell had hit just 108 runs in 13 matches for the Punjab Kings in IPL 2020 wherein he did not register a single six.
