Iowa teenagers accused of murdering high school Spanish teacher to be tried as adults
Fox News
A pair of Iowa teenagers accused of murdering their high school Spanish teacher will be tried as adults when their case heads to court in November, a judge has ruled.
Speaking during Miller’s Thursday court appearance, the judge said the juvenile court system would not have enough time to rehabilitate Miller "for a crime of such magnitude." If found guilty, the juvenile system would not have been able to detain Miller more than six months past his 19th birthday.
