India women tour of Australia: Left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad makes her way back into the Test side. Two new faces have been named in the T20I squad which will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced India women squads for the one-off Test, ODI and T20I series for their tour of Australia. which will be played from September 19 to October 11. Mithali Raj has been named the captain for the historic day-night Test and the ODI series. Harmanpreet Kauri will lead the visitors in the T20I series. India play their first-ever day-night women's Test at the WACA in Perth from September 30 to October 3. India are heading into the historic Test on the back of an impressive draw against England in Bristol earlier this year. While big names, including Harmanpreet Kauri, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verna and Jhulan Goswami have retained their spots, Sneh Rama finds a place in the Test and ODI squad after an impressive tour of England.More Related News
