Rahul Dravid, India's coach for Sri Lanka tour, has said that selectors will definitely take note of performances from youngsters like Devdutt Padikkal, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Prithvi Shaw. He added that whether those players will be included in India's T20 World Cup squad is up to the selectors.

Rahul Dravid, India coach for the upcoming series versus Sri Lanka, has said that no tour is a life and death situation, adding that selectors will "certainly" take note of performances from the youngsters. The former India captain and the current head of Nation Cricket Academy (NCA) stated that youngsters in the squad like Prithvi Shaw, Devdutt Padikkal and Ruturaj Gaikwad will be extremely keen to put on a good show in the island nation but whether they will be picked for the upcoming T20 World Cup in October depends on the selectors.
