New Zealand suffered a major blow hours ahead of the start of the 2nd Test against India in Mumbai as their captain Kane Williamson was ruled out due to an elbow injury. Tom Latham is all set to lead New Zealand in the series decider, which will be played at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday.

Kane Williamson had been dealing with the long-standing elbow issue and New Zealand coach Gary Stead confirmed the injury flared up during the first Test in Kanpur which ended in a draw.
