India batsman Shreyas Iyer was a bit disappointed that the team couldn't beat New Zealand but was "happy with the overall performance" after the first Test ended in a thrilling draw on the final day at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Tuesday.

Shreyas Iyer starred in his debut Test with 105 and 65 runs to bag the Player of the Match award for his record-breaking performance. Iyer became the first Indian batsman to hit a hundred and fifty in his debut Test after being drafted into the playing XI following the injury to opener KL Rahul.
