India vs England: Shreyas Iyer needs to bat higher up the order, No. 6 spot not ideal for him- Aakash Chopra

Former India batsman Aakash Chopra is not happy about Shreyas Iyer coming in to bat at the No 6 spot and said that the batsman needs to be played higher up the order to be able to have an impact on the opposition.

The ongoing T20I series against England has seen a few team India players switch their batting positions and former India batsman Aakash Chopra is not happy about a lot of the changes. Chopra had earlier raised objections to India skipper Virat Kohli coming in to bat at No. 4 instead of his usual No. 3 position, and now he is unhappy with Shreyas Iyer coming as far down the order as No 6 in the fourth T20I on Thursday. However, Chopra also said that the batsman does not have a choice and will have to play at “whatever position given to him”.
