India slams Pakistan for abusing UN to propagate false, malicious propaganda

“At the outset, we condemn the abuse of a UN platform by Pakistan to propagate its false and malicious propaganda against my country," First Secretary in India’s Permanent Mission to the UN Ashish Sharma said.

India has strongly hit out at Pakistan for yet again propagating “false and malicious propaganda” against it at a UN platform, where Islamabad spoke in favour of its close ally China’s “protection of ethnic and religious minorities” in Xinjiang.

At the meeting of the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly that deals with social, humanitarian & cultural issues, First Secretary in India’s Permanent Mission to the UN Ashish Sharma spoke after Pakistan’s delegate again raked up the issue of Jammu and Kashmir in her intervention at the meeting.
