India’s first Assembly Session for children held in Rajasthan to mark Bal Diwas

To commemorate Bal Diwas, India's first Assembly Session for Children was held in Rajasthan on Sunday.

Their eyes sparkling with hope, 200 children from 15 Indian states were in for a treat on Sunday when they got the opportunity to be part of a ‘Children’s Session’ of the Rajasthan Assembly in Jaipur to commemorate Children’s day, the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru.

The children asked questions, sought answers, were assertive and aggressive all at the same time, and took the responsibility of donning the mantle of young netas seriously.
