India recorded 12,885 new Covid-19 cases and 461 deaths due to the viral infection in the last 24 hours, as per the data released by the Union health ministry on Thursday.
India registered 12,885 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The tally was 8.3 per cent higher than that reported on Wednesday. With the fresh cases, the country's overall caseload has mounted to 3,43,21,025, according to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare early Thursday.
Kerala, with 7,312 cases, continues to be among the top five states which registered the maximum Covid-19 cases. Other states which reported the maximum number of Covid-19 cases are Maharashtra with 1,193 cases, Tamil Nadu with 962 cases, West Bengal with 919 cases and Mizoram with 526 cases.
