India is using voice queries nearly two times more than rest of the world, says Google

Google at its Google for India 2021 virtual event said that the number of Indians using voice queries daily is near twice the global average.

At its annual Google for India event, the search engine giant announced a host of new features to existing apps like Google Assistant, Google Pay, and Google Search. However, one of the big things coming out of the marquee Google event is the fact that Indians are now using voice queries more than the rest of the world.

The company executives, during its keynote, said that the number of Indians using voice queries on an everyday basis is almost double the global average.
