India tour of England: Rohit Sharma walked out for the toss as he led India in the 3-day practice match against county XI in Durham from Tuesday. Pacers Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma were rested along with senior batsmen Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane.
India came up with a few surprise calls by resting captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane along with off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and fast bowler Mohammed Shami for the 3-day practice game against County Select XI in Durham, starting July 20. Rohit Sharma is leading the Indian team in Durham in the 3-day match that has been accorded the first-class status. Along with the Shami, pacer Ishant Sharma is also warming the benches.More Related News
