For the survivors and witnesses of mass shootings and other forms of gun violence, longtime comforts and celebrations, like fireworks, have become nightmarish triggers.
The 26-year-old's views on fireworks changed after she had to hide under a desk while a gunman fired rounds in the King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, more than three months ago.
