In 'Special 26' style, gang poses as CBI team to loot MP distillery, 6 held

The Madhya Pradesh Police arrested six persons for looting a distillery in Chhatarpur district by posing as members of a CBI team, taking inspiration from Bollywood film ‘Special 26’.

Inspired by Bollywood film ‘Special 26’, a gang conducted fake raids at a distillery in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh posing as CBI officials and duped the owner of Rs 2 lakh. The police have arrested six members of the gang. According to a report in News 18, six men landed at the office of Jack Pin Breweries Limited in Naugaon town in Chhatrapur at around 8 am on August 6. Posing as CBI officers, the men claimed that they had arrived there to probe an old hooch case that took place in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh district last year.
