In Spain, annual ‘Tomatina’ street battle kicks off with 15,000 people hurling tomatoes

Trucks have dumped 120 tons of overripe tomatoes in Buñol, Spain, to mark the start of the Spanish town’s 2023 “Tomatina" street party attended by 15,000 people.
The street fight leaves both the street, its houses and participants drenched in red pulp.
Tickets for the festival start at $13.
