In Complaint Against Brij Bhushan, Court Defers Order On Closure Report

Delhi Police had filed a cancellation report on June 15 in the POCSO case against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

A court here on Friday deferred the order on the cancellation report filed by the Delhi Police in a POCSO case against the outgoing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chairman and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. This case was lodged on the complaint filed by a minor woman wrestler.

Special (POCSO) Judge Chhavi Kapoor was on leave on Friday. Therefore, the order was deferred for November 25.

On August 1, the court had reserved its order on the cancellation report after noting the response of the minor wrestler and her father. They did not oppose the cancellation report.
