For the first time, the Indian Navy is participating in the IN – EUNAVFOR joint naval exercise with warships from the Italian, Spanish and French Navies, in the Gulf Of Aden.
For the first time, the Indian Navy is participating in joint drills with the European Union Naval Force, comprising warships from the French, Spanish and Italian navies, being held in the Gulf of Aden. Exercise involves high tempo-naval operations including anti-piracy scenario exercises, cross deck #helo ops and complex tactical evolutions with ITS Carabinere, ESPS Navarra, FS Tonnerre and FS Surcouf (2/3).File s pic.twitter.com/AJP8DlDraZ The Indian Naval Ship Trikand, a mission deployed for anti-piracy operations, is participating in the IN EUNAVFOR joint naval exercise which commenced on Friday (June 18). “A total of five warships from four navies are participating in the exercise on 18 and 19 June 2021. Other warships include Italian Navy Ship ITS Carabinere, Spanish Navy Ship ESPS Navarra, and two French Navy Ships, FS Tonnerre and FS Surcouf,” the Indian Navy said in an official statement.More Related News
