Three Latvian nationals in the U.S. illegally were arrested in Texas for allegedly running a $14 million gift card fraud scheme across multiple cities, authorities say.

The men, all Latvian citizens, told investigators that they stole gift cards from about 10 stores each day, seven days a week, since May, the news outlet reported.
They would then carefully remove the packaging.
