"If 12 MPs Apologise, Then We Can Review": Government On Suspension Row

Twelve opposition MPs from Rajya Sabha have been suspended from parliament's Winter Session for violence that broke out on the last day of the Monsoon Session
The government was "compulsorily forced" to suspend 12 opposition MPs for "misbehaviour" but will consider revoking their suspension if they apologise to the Speaker and apologise to the House, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said this morning. #WinterSessionpic.twitter.com/JszBgbNCOI
"In order to maintain the dignity of the House, the government was compulsorily forced to place this proposal of suspension before the House. But if these 12 MPs still apologize to the Speaker and the House for their misbehavior, then the government is also ready to consider their proposal positively with an open heart," he tweeted.
Earlier, speaking to reporters, Mr Joshi said the entire country knew how the opposition behaved on August 11, the last day of the Monsoon session.
