I&B Ministry launches portal to enable producers to get online permission to shoot across India

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, L Murugan launched a portal where one can apply for permission to shoot from various departments. He said that centre is committed to ease of doing business in film industry.

The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting on Friday, October 8, launched a portal, which will enable producers and filmmakers to get online permission to shoot across India. They also announced that they will address the problems being faced by the film industry over permissions.

Speaking about the portal, Dr L Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, said, "Ministry of I&B has launched a portal where one can apply for permission to shoot from various departments. This will enable the producers to get online permission to shoot anywhere in India, thus ensuring the ease of doing business."
